a 35-70mm f4 + extension tube made form a "glass-removed" 2x teleconvertor....
Geeze, that's very innovative.
I'm going to buy a hammer tomorrow to "glass-removed" an old 2x teleconvertor of mine :)

.....giving my self a bout 4~5yrs ahead to gain consistency in my macro shots...(i gave myself 5 yrs for my landscape to reach some level of personal consistency so approx form there...:) for macro to lah...)....
very humble of you.
I just visited the link in your signature.
Enjoyed it alot.
Macro really brings out a totally new perspective.

Now i'm kinda hooked on to the macro stuff. After looking at works from some of the CS gurus...like Megaweb, Jeff, tchuanye to name a few...Its great to see the level of maturity + consistency of the shots here in CS.
Agreed.
I enjoyed tchuanye's work a lot too.
Shall go and search for Megaweb and Jeff's

The 100mm macro is really a great lens.....and i got the 200mm just for personal liking on its specific use. Last three months of real "every weekend must shoot" sessions....works can be found in the link in my signature. Still a long way more...
Gosh! Just realised from the price guide thread that KM 100mm macro cost more than $1000.

Think tamrom 90mm is more affordable to me :)
Or maybe check out price of extension tube and use it with 50mm f/1.7 for a start.

Just try out the Minolta 16mm Fish Eye

Hart, nice interior shots. When you say retouch, do you mean adjust the distortion? Or other things? Seem like the distortion is well control, unlike my earlier impression.

Mainly just retouching as in Sharpening and adjusting exposure.

This lens is only suitable for interior as well as outdoor landscape shots. For people shots, best to avoid..

Hiee Pals...

As made known ....I'm moving on to all-in-one for awhile....so juz got one form our fellow CSer...a Tamron Copy...18-200mm. All I can Say...this lens is Underrated and mis-reviewed by some sites.

I got the Tamron version as feedback from one of our fellow CSer is that the KM one will droop and self extend as there is no locking mechanism... The Tamron one...not only its a little cheaper it has a "lock".....

Here are some pics...

And close-ups...

A truly walk-around -all rounder...
