Tried a lens today at a shop. However, below is what I encountered.
Anyone can explain what's wrong with this lens? The above is a burst shot and there seem to have this green tinge that runs down the image.
Even as I do normal shoot, with various settings, the green tinge still appears randomly.
I did the shoot on the same subject with my 24-105 and doesn't seem to have this problem. I'm using a 6D btw.
If not for this problem, I would have gotten this lens as it was a damn sharp copy with no AF issues. And unfortunately they do not have another copy for me to test.
Please advise, so I can go elsewhere to get with more confidence.

Looks like a white balance issue. I dun have this problem using the 35 on mark3
look at the last 2 pages of this thread and you will see the explanations of the issue. not related to the lens. is the lighting and physics.

Thanks for the enlightenment.
Looking at other photos I have, at ISO640 1/200, they look alright. About 1/320 onwards the green starts to appear.
Learnt something new, perhaps I should go down to other shop to try if indeed the phenomenon occurs.

I noticed the object in photo is further than what I see with my eye. Is this the nature of wider angle lens? Sorry, I don't have other wide angle lens to compare. Hope I can get advice here.
Yes, that is right. with wide angles things look further away. The focal length that gives a view similar to our own eyes is 43mm.
