Images from Sigma 35mm f1.4 dg

Arg, I just tried 2 copies today at the shop. Both front focus, tried out so many tests, I am trying to convince myself that this is limitation of wide aperture but my Canon 35L does not do that even at 1.4. Sometimes "lottery" is not really "lottery" if the shop allow users to try it because what you buy is a copy that nobody wants.

Anybody know any shop which have a lot of stock?

Where did you play with the 2 copies?

Let me share some images of my model boy:cool:. It is very easy to fall in love with this lens.

Nice pics, especially the first one

May I ask if this is at home or somewhere else? That window in the rear is quite a godsend too :)

Yap. The lighting was pretty good there. It is at a restaurant cum playhouse in Rochester Park. :)

Hi Guys Iv'e been reading reviews of this lens and I'm really on the edge of buying it. I just want to confirm those who use this lens on a d800. Is there any focusing issues? I read that the previous batches had these in the corner focusing points. Please do share your experience.. Thanks!

pretty concerned about the AF issues as well.

Is that a lens or a D800 issue?

Hey any guys using this on Canon?
How's the autofocus SPEED. thinking of switching from the Canon EF 1.4 and even though its not as sharp stopped down,
it's AF is very good for fast moving stuff

This lens got a problem when taking portraits. You need to lower sharpness in order not to see the blemishes on your model's face. Something to take note of...

It's scary :p

Got 3D or not? Personally, I have never been able to see 3D in any 2D image. :embrass:

To me no 3D because not enough contrast between subject and background . maybe it's just me
