Hi everyone, I have been away for a long while now. I used to have a FZ28 and got talked into a DSLR but found I wasn't using it as much. On my last trip to Singapore I sold my DSLR and I am thinking of buying a FZ200, I should have never left the FZ brotherhood. I now live in Bundaberg Queensland Australia formerly in Darwin but have PR in Singapore. My wife is Singaporean and we try to visit her family as often as we can. Will keep following this thread and hope to contribute soon.

Hi, the FZ200 is a good camera and doesn't disappoint in general use. Of course, it will not match up to the image quality of a dslr. I used to own a FZ18 and now an FZ200 so I know what Panasonic bridge cameras are capable of. We hope you will get one and post your photos in this thread soon.

Hi all, my wife and I are going for a short holiday in Dec to Hervey Bay and the Sunshine Coast so I will have a FZ200 before that trip. The reason I sold my DSLR was the hassle of carrying multiple lenses and the problem of dust. I am currently working on the Sugar Cane Locomotives as a Fireman, hauling cane from the outlying disticts in the the Mill at Bundaberg. The crushing season finishes at the end of this week, so plently of time after that for fishing and taking pics.

Perhaps somebody can id this bird. Taken at Geylang River

Share some outing snapshots.

Very nice, you seem to have a great variety of bird-life in Singapore.
