which part of bedok? i'm looking for crispy burnt satays! seldom see them now. =\ used to love the old lagoon at east coast's satays but no longer go there much and no idea which stall already.

sounds like there's young yummy satay people wanting to eat it alive

i like the satay at the whampoa market...wif nice pineapple sauce.

Whatever happened to the satay men at the old Botanic Gardens hawker center? Where did they move to? I reckon that their satays were amongst the better ones in SG.

Did they move to Chomp Chomp? ;p

Koelsch bro, it's at Bedok Rd, but you need to take Bus 14. The most convenient one is the one at Bedok Interchange which I usually go. :D

bro, satay perut is everywhere here. Except here they sometimes call it babat.
East Coast Park seafood center have and of course lau pasat. But I don't like lau pasat too much. too much competition between the stalls and don't feel at ease when eating
Ahhh... that's not the real deal. Satay babat is not satay perut. Looks like I still have to go to JB to eat my favorite satay.

Anybody else knows where to get satay perut in Singapore?

The food market @ Haig road. Plenty of satay stores there.
Forget abt the malay stores, try the chinese store satay. Very nice, their quality so far very consistent. Everytime go eat, everytime taste so good.

Their chicken, mutton satay soft and tender.
