ok...the only other option available is to exercise until you are completely pooped out and will go to la la land as soon as you hit the sack.

also (very important), cut out all chocolate, chilli and cognac from your diet.

exercise.... errr errr.

not much chocolate (though I love)
chilli don't take much of those any more.
cognac ... I am super light social drinker.

erm....walking is pretty easy on your joints lah.....just get a good pair of walking boots.

i have good pairs of walking shoes. I don't like to wear them :p
