Hyperrealism

Been pass by the church so many time , even stop and think how to compose it ,cannot get any idea, until I seen yours shot , is really very well taken shot, you are a fantastic photographer, thanks for sharing.

St Andrews Cathedral

I love this church so much but have always found it a challenge to compose it in a good way. I guess I've found a solution with the heavy downpour leaving a lovely reflection thus making the composition timeless and leading you the viewer to linger longer.

Camera Info:
Canon 5d Mk 2 | Canon 16-35 f2.8L Mk2 | ISO 100 | f 9.0 | focal length 16mm ( 3 tile vertorama, 4 exposure 2 ev spacing digital blended image)

Interesting & nice composition. This shows photography is not just about cam specs, but also creativity. I have been to the church on several occasions, but have never seen the cathedral from this angle of view. thx for sharing this wonderful pic.

LUCITY

As if in a lucid dream I was the wind moving free amongst the skyscrapers peering over the lights and the sounds of the bars below me.

Shot this with the X-E1. I've never been able to shoot this scene as effectively as now. Due to the small size of this camera, I was able to mount a gorilla pod to the obstructive blinds this view had.

Although I wasn't able to shoot it with a panoramic head, this was a 6 tile multi row panorama due to the limitations of having at widest 18mm on a crop body amount to a field of view of 27mm!

Thankfully it stitch easily.

Camera Info:
Fujifilm X-E1 | Fujinon 18-55 f2.8-4.0 IS | ISO 200 | f 8.0 | focal length 18mm (6 tile, 6 exposures with a 1 ev spacing manually blended)

Thanks guys! I'm a normal photographer, just observant to stuff on the ground (looking hard for money!)

APOCALYPTICA

HOLY.... Check out what I shot after my dinner just now..

I saw the fires lit up the sky while I was at Lower Pierce reservoir but I would have never imagined it to look so freaking epic up high...

So in a most fitting way.. listen to this song I've specially chosen to go with this image.

thanks man!

There was a fire?
It was what I believe flue gas burning from flairs. I've seen it before from the equinox, It looks like a sun setting very low in the horizon. They should be doing it within the next few days.

Pilage

fire in the horizon! I was just sitting in the dark as I got done with packing when I noticed, they horizon was brimming an orange glow.. It made the sky turn pink and out the camera flew onto the tripod in 2 seconds flat!

This was the 3rd try at processing the image as along the way I found out there was updates for camera raw that was specific to the x-trans sensor the fujifilm used..

Clark to Robertson

Spent a good amount of time on this piece to really get something that is pretty close to perfection. All because I was looking through 500px and felt really depressed about my works quality. =/

Camera Info:
Fujifilm X-E1 | Fujinon 18-55 f2.8-4 IS | ISO 200 | f 13.0 | focal length 18mm (picked out 11 exposures but I think I used 9 of them in the making of this image carefully selecting the parts I thought were cohesive in the composition)

City Life

Heres a crazy image I just finished.. Did not sleep as I wanted to go for a sunrise but its raining heavily.

Well, what can i say other than this image took about 4 and a half hours to complete. It comprises of 5 tiles of fully manual blended images of which there was a complex set of light trails for each tile that required great scrutiny. Stitching was no problems but in the end, the result is pure insanity.

Hope you like this image and have a Great Sunday!

Camera Info:
Canon 5d Mk 2 | Canon 16-35 f2.8L Mk2 | ISO 100 | f 9.0 | focal length 16mm (5 tile, 5-10 image per tile digital blended panorama)
