Multiple flash (MULTI)
The flash is triggered a number of times while the shutter is open (multiple flash).
Multiple flash allows motion of the subject to be captured in a photograph for later
analysis.
• The camera must be set to the M mode for multiple flash photography.
and so forth. is this what you're talking about?
simply means, for the duration the shutter remains open, the flash fires a few times. so if you have a subject that's moving, technically you'll freeze him/her in the frame multiple times. the darker the condition, the better the results.

I had a look at the F43AM manual and that's what it says too. i think this should be what Telsoon is referring to..

I got the 43 and my only initial regret was not going for the stronger one at a cheaper price like the 58.
Being an amatuer I realised it was more important that I learn to maximise my know how on what is already such a complex system..
Anyways sorry to hijack this thread but can anyone recommend me a wireless flash trigger for the 43 to pair with an a77?
I heard phottix just made a strato II for Sony and was thinking of getting that.
Don't wanna overspend unnecessarily.
