Hi Seniors,

Im currently using a Nikon D800 and was wondering how to use the off camera flash with the settings at:
F1.8
ISO 100-200
Shuttle speed at 1/1000 or higher.

I know for Nikon on camera flash we are able to use the FP mode and we can shoot at the shuttle speed of higher than 1/250

But in the situation changed for off camera flash and using the SB900 flash on a remote and trigger on a light stand. how would i be able to shoot at a low aperture 1.4F, 1.8F or 2.8F
and at a high shuttle speed of 1/1000 and higher for outdoor shoots. =)

Thank you so much in advance, and really will be grateful for your advice and help

FP mode still works in Nikon CLS triggering. Are you triggering using Nikon's CLS?

Which shuttle?

Haha. Kidding ;p

Did you enable auto FP on your D800? Under [Flash sync speed] menu option, select [1/250 s (Auto FP)]

Edit: Just re-read your post and noticed this bit:

...using the SB900 flash on a remote and trigger

What remote/trigger are you using? You will need to use one which supports high speed sync. E.g., Phottix Odin, PW TT5
