Dear fellow CSers,

I need some help here, I'll be helping my friend to shoot some outdoor portraits.
I'll like to use a reflector to direct the light source instead of using external flash.
The problem is I'm a one man photographer. So I gues i need to mount my round reflector on my tripod.

How can I do that?
What do i need to buy?
How much and where to get it? :)

u need to get a reflector holder arm, and a convert so that it can screw onto the tripod, but if u are using a large reflector, it's better to use the arm with a heavy duty lightstand more stable.

Can check out ruby photo at pennisula or Orient photo at sim lim sq on the equipments

you need a reflector holder arm as mention by wdEvA, and you also need add counter weight to your light stand, as at outdoor, wind will topple the whole set up easily.

best is get a person to help you to hold.

ask your friend to bring another friend

Real reflector holder already not very steady, especially outdoors.

Macro clamp holder ... :sweatsm:

As Ortega mentioned - get another person to hold the reflector. Bestest and cheapest approach.

Bring the pet dog.
Tie the reflector to the dog's body.
Ask the dog to SIT.

hehehehe... just kidding :)
Another person is the best bet. Much more versatile. Can move here move there, tilt here tilt there.

Nothing beats the human touch I shoud say:)
