how to delete video effect transitions in premiere pro 1.5?

i followed the instructions but say i use Video Transition > Slide > Push, when i add to a clip i cannot delete the effect, whereas if i use Video Effects > Image Control > Black and white, i can easily remove the effect from the Effects Control window....anyone knows how come i cannot remove those transitions? :dunno:

On the timeline, just click on the transition and press delete key...........isn't it ?

oops didnt know can zoom into the timeline....noob here haha..yup can delete..ahhh blur. thanks again!
