Because small businesses seldom has consistent revenue especially in the service industry.
this is true. i do not haf a regular income unlike in the past when i work full time in a studio and receive a fix amount of $$.
everythings' cool and dandy. but i'm not happy with the jobscope and the fact that i do not share the same vision as my employers made my life there miserable.
$$ is important but i think for some ppl, dreams and ambitions are almost, if not, more important than $$. well, to me anyway.
let's face it, some are happy to receive their big fat check at the end of a working month. some can only ever be employees.
as for me, i think i'm still relatively young and thus, i decided to strike out on my own.
jus try la! what's there to be scared of? it can't kill u. it'll jus make u go hungry for the 1st year or so if u're fortunate.
otherwise i can always go back to working for some co. or studio.
I don't deny I can be as shallow as it can get in terms of dreams and visions. But 1 thing is for sure, the stack of notes I just withdrew from the automated teller is real. :bsmilie:
i don't think u're shallow, u're just a very practical person. most singaporeans are anyway.
as for me, i enjoy my own freedom in choosing the type of project to work on, work with and definitely, i'm extremely happy with my lifestyle and my own progress.
oh, and i do enjoy withdrawing my own $$, from the ATM jus like u do, knowing that the $$ i made is no different from the $$ u made, by sweat and blood.
