Hello all,
Have been wondering: if i wanna print an A4 size pic, how many pixels do I need to get an good pic?
Thanks!
A4 = 8.3 x 11.7in
= (8.3 x 11.7) x 300
= 2490 x 3510
= 8739900
= 8.74 megapixel
Yep. Second that.:thumbsup:Originally posted by ckiang
A measely 2mp camera can already do decent 8x10 (close to A4) prints.
Interpolation is just a technique for inventing something from nothing (in this case, making up pixels from nothing, based on other pixels).

The general rule is,
1MP - 3" X 5" Print
2MP - 5" X 7" Print
3MP - 8" X 10" Print
4MP - 9" X 12" Print
5MP - 10" X 14" Print

Is there any difference in quality printing 4R if I use 3.3MP compared to 6.1MP?
