how many 5DMkII owners....if these 7D specs are true

im sold if smaller form factor and the built-in grip

i bet canon will sell to people who are after the looks of an integrated grip.

If this fictional 7D ever does materialize, the pricing could just be the tipping point for me....If its around 2.5-2.7k street price it would be great. All I ask for (and need) is 12-15 MP, and awesome high ISO performance. No HD video for me, thanks. Integrated grip not a must but would be a bonus if included in the package.

agree! 12 is a bit too little

best is 16-18 ;p

excellent ISO is a must

and more focusing point!!

OLED is goot but not necessary

no need for video lower the price for cutting this thing out

if 7D is true and price is ard 2.7k.... i reckon the diff is less than 800.

If the rumoured specs is true, it is not really a downgrade. Maybe lose some features but I consider faster burst, more AF, OLED to be an upgrade. Also the 24MP file is quite large to handle. If 7D is APS-H, even better. I find the vignette in FF to be a pain in the axx anyway.

I would consider 7D if the battery and battery grip is the same. Else no. Too much sunken cost into 5DMKII already.
