How are real world HK prices compared to Tin Cheung's online website prices? Web prices still with room for discount or need to go price.com.hk for all items?

Real HK market price is lower than Tin Cheung website price but slightly higher than price.com.hk website price. That's why I said use price.com.hk as a benchmark and you won't get conned but do expect to pay slightly higher since some of the lowest quotes come from shops that are located in hard to get places.

I have shopped stuff from tc and the prices offered were fairly reasonable. Didnt do any bargaining cos being a foreigner i guess my chances were fairly nil :-/

Not too sure whether they carry Crumpler bags or not as at my age, I didn't pay any notice to this brand. My eyes only glued to the Billinghams... ;p I will try to find out next time I am in Mongkok.

Got 77mm Kenko Pro 1D Protector (W) for 218HKD @ Apliu Street, Sham Shui Po .

I notice the price in hk like seasonal. Depends on stock level. Like share market. Focus on what you want to get and compare it in hk. Don't rush into buying. Even the same chainstore like fortress, sunning, broadway can have different pricing and foc item.

Guys, I was at Canon Svc Ctr. I showed them my international warranty card fir my speedlite. They told me they will honor the warranty only with receipt. Advise those who gg to get canon stuff in hk to keep the receipt if u r getting the older sets that are still under the old warranty scheme.

Yes, CSC always require original receipt with the international warranty card. Just to be safe, ask the shop to provide their company chop on the warranty card when you get the speedlite.

Tc charges extra for cc transaction. Its not hidden, they do make it a point to tell you about the extras. I think its 2% but not sure.

Btw are all the WS and MS outlet in Mongkok have the same price since they are run by the same owner? Could save me the trip of running 3 different shops there.
