I've been rather peakish the past 2 days..

How was Valentine's for everyone?

We had a homecooked dinner.. Baked a Plum Cake Tatin for dessert and had it with vanilla icecream

I've received some comments on how I should play with more shadows in my pics.
So, I tried using black reflectors in some of the pics to try and create a moody, rainy day sort of feel..

Made some Madeleines today.. Not too bad for a first try... and considering the fact that I used cheap $2 Daiso moulds

A fig pie or fig tarts should be relatively easy and would present many options for improvisations. Cheers!
