High resolution scan will give u a resolution of 3818 x 2546 pixel
a low res one is about 1900+ x 1300+ pixel
a high res scan can easily print up to 10R with excellent results.
a low res one maybe only a 5R size.

Regards

hi kex, pls pardon my lateness to this topic cos only recently i was jus searching on the scanning service.. may i ask...

is ur high res able to print up to A2 size? or at least A3?

if u need higher res scan,i do provide one using my imacon flextight scanner which cost $10 per frame.
those high res scan are capable of doing A2 or bigger with no problem.
average file size is ard 30+mb in RGB TiFF format.
the normal 16base scan @ $6 is only recommended for up to 12Rmax..

hey can i have ur address n operating hours? i stay in bedok north too! btw, ur pricing sounds reasonable n given the fact tt so many people praise ur svc, i hope i would be one of ur regular customers! i went to a shop in peninsula n some other places. none of their svc n quality is gd except e one in my sch but quite ex n it closed down during the hols... hope to visit u soon!

cheers!

pls pardon my ignorance to the sizes.. 12R is about.....A3, A4?

12R means the width of the photo is 12",if it the image ratio is 3:2,means 12"by 18"

if it is a 4:3 image it is 12"by 15"

A3 should be ard 12"x16" if i remember correctly.

correction
4:3 will get u 12"by 16"
