Kex,

Scanning of 34 pcs 6x7 and 7 rolls of 35mm received. Some having wrong orientation and I didn't know it takes so long to rotate each image. The files is really BIG. :bsmilie:

some of the negative excess frame is not enuff to hold it properly in the holder, dats y have to scan it the other way with more excess frames.

Thank you~!

IC. I viewed all the images with my wife on a BIG screen and our observations are:

1. The 6x7 images (files size 15-30MB) are quite blur. The feel is like it was taken with DigiCam with a lot of noise. Can see a lot of dots. Esp for those with low contrast.

2. The 35mm images (files size abt 3MB) is better.

3. Relatively, those photos we taken with our 3.2MP digicam (file size abt 700KB) is sharper than the above.

Is this normal for scanned images or something wrong with my negatives? Those were taken by professional and the developed photo was very sharp. If I am going to develop photo with the scanned images will it be as blur?

i believe those dots u mention were grains on the film, many of my customers had big enlargements made out from their medium format scans were very happy with their printouts.
some grains will be more obvious after scanning if the negatives are pushed while developing,a common practise for wedding studio photography to achieved certain results.

In this case what will be the result of my print out if I send for printing?
From what I see here it is quite bad la. Like photo taken by digicam in very poor light condition.

Post processing is neccessary b4 sending for printing, let me know how's the result.
we'll work something out from there.

Cheers~!
