24. Hort park, I like this picture, it evokes a sense of tranquility. Btw, thats not noise ...its raindrops, and also, the picture is not OOF. I specifically wanted the raindrops, with the background to be blurry.

17..didn't put the diffuser.
18-20..purposely underexposed. Found my first shots too bright. I liked it a little duller. Exposure is almost one step below thee mid range.
21-22 . Head is reasonably in focus in 22... and... I don't like things flying around me...soo..not really that easy to concentrate on shooting pics :P

Am trying to post process the bees..make the lighting a little less harsh...will upload the new version if it looks any better.

An old macro shot taken in my second night macro outing. I was relatively new back then, not that I am a pro now..just had 4 outings so far. Anyway, back then, I didn't have any diffuser so the light is kinda harsh. And new to the raynox too so didn't get the focus perfect. Regardless, I love the wings and am posting it here. The colors in the wings were obtained by shining a torch light from the corner right..any side angle will do basically.

Equipment used:
Nikon D80
50mm 1.4 AIS
Raynox DCR 250
Inbuilt flash, Manual mode, varying power from 1/4 to 1/16 depending on the subject.

27. Droobybug(I think thats it name..or something that sounds similar. If anyone can identify it, let me know and will make the corrections in the name ok?

It's a Derbid bug.

Went out to Admiralty Park this time... was quite disappointed with the lack of variety there. Nice place to visit if you want to photograph stars though, very little lights nearby and area was quite clear. Next time I go there at night, it will probably be for astrophotography.

That's it. Only 6 shots from this outing. My personal favorite is pic number 30 and 33.

Had gone to Sentosa a while ago. Weeks ago actually. Just never found the time to process my photos until 2 days back.
Managed to finally..FINALLY..capture a reasonably decent photo of a creature I have been trying to capture on my camera since the past 5 months.

I give you, The sea angel, tiny swimming sea slugs.
Sea angels are gelatinous, mostly transparent and very small, with the largest species (Clione limacina) reaching 5 cm.
These ones however, were barely 2cm.

Considering the environment I was snapping these pics, I think they are pretty good. Besides, you try shooting through a magnifying glass which keeps fogging up and there are dozens of whiny little brats around you. Damn school vacations.
I wish I could take one of them home so I can take a decent snapshot in peace.

Equipment used:
Nikon D80
Sigma 150mm
Inbuilt flash, Manual mode, powered at 1/16
Shot in RAW format.
