Their Dxxxx series seem to be their entry level range. The K5 should be grouped with their D300s (whereby their successor is still not announced yet?)

Got my k-7 before at 1699 body only. Add 400 for 18-55 wr lens. Didn't took the wr though, coz It's not avaiable at that time

KR is not magnesium alloy body, no WR, different sensor, single LCD, single command dial.

That only means the D7000 is at the upper end of the entry level fare. But whatever it has, its not for me. I only like small and sexy cameras. Bricks are left at home. :bsmilie:

spoke to Ronald from Emjay ytday, he have no idea how much will it be the price for K5 and Kr also, but he said so far the been followed B&H price to retain sg customer so this time will be within the range as well. seems like B&H price not so attractive now, will see how it turn out after the product finally hit market
