Dun you agree its rather effective in building hype? I already got all heated up for the day to get my hands on one. Dispite the small fire fighter pix, I am already "teased" to believe it has good noise control.

Didn't you know? The one that released D50, D70S manual got sacked, then went to Canon and released the 5D, then got sacked, now back to Nikon again and release the D200 also got sacked again and now he going back to Canon. :bsmilie:

to some extend, i'm keen on the D200 mainly due to the fanatical support Nikon users have for it everywhere in the internet forums. i'll be really hyped up if it's a Fuji Super CCD. yeah!

anyway, hard not to be all hyped up for everytime i visit CS, the Nikon forum is buzzing with news of the D200!:bsmilie:

i think their marketing strategy has been very successful thus far.

wonder if FujiFilm will do the same with their S4Pro..hmmm:think:

hmmm... they recall ah? the lens looked promising on their FF DSLRs. their classic is still the EF28-70 f2.8L. that's an excellent lens!

See... you dunno right? It was all recall rumours until Canon confirms it today.

Good lens, I love my Nikkor 24-120!

F4 (with Constance) and L designation almost make it the king of multi-purpose lens. I will want one for my Canon.

yeaps, F4 is a bonus! don;t know abt their recall, but its the least they can do esp. when fred miranda's forum is full of blood culling calls on the lens apparent lack of optimal L lens performance.

anyway, Canon can come out with their 18-200 USM IS L sometime next week. be prepared for a 'slipped sneak preview'. :bsmilie:

I dunno how to read Japanese, but I think only those number under 1000 is affected. So far there are a lot of people commenting on the good results more than the angel light flare. I think once sorted out it should be a good piece of equipment.

i'm expecting a 'get-to-know' introductory for the D200 in Singapore from the Nikon ppl very soon! it'll be interesting to see who they invite this time round for the 'launch talk' as well as the REFRESHMENTS!!! :bsmilie:
