Sueh! I also kena! What to do? Must go NSC! What do you all mean by REMAP?

They will shift the hot spot to some where else on the CMOS?

It removes the hot pixel somehow. I got my G9 hot pixel remapped before as well, only 1 pixel. At no cost under warranty.

how i do blank shoot on d60?

Put in manual focus too.. cos in autofocus, sometimes it won't let you shoot if out of focus..

just press focus lock before put on lens cap, it is faster inthis way.

Benjamin, That is very good idea too. Interesting. Just seen your website. Nice! I think have seen you before in CNA!

yes, blank shot shows the red pixel as well, funny thing is... it happens at the exact spot at ISO 400 and above, and only happen from 1/50 to 1/2 sec, when it's at 1 sec shutter speed, it doesn't appear... weird...

That's probably caused by long exposure NR. If you disable it, the red dot will appear in all shutter speeds.

funny thing is doesn't the d90 have decent high iso performance ?
if so, why still on the NR function especially when it slows down image processing time ?

thank you for your kind comment. is CNA as in channel new asia? I'm not sure, maybe you are referring to the TV programs for the mother to be, which has a few minuets clips of me shooting a maternity portrait a few years ago, that is not thing, nowadays everyone can 上电视 if they want to.... :)

Long exposure NR is to eliminate hot pixels which may be present in longer exposure. This is one of the problems that plagues CMOS sensor more than CCD.
