thanks for the info wolf ..
i buying that lens to fit into the gap between my 100 and 200mm minolta.
actually was thinking maybe can get sigma 150mm f2.8macro, but hell.. they had no minolta mount .. ?? geez , n that lens is heavy. so forget it .. better stick to 135mm
in fact i like that size and weight of 135mm a lot ! .. why didnt minolta have the pancake versions of the lens ?? (like carl zeiss tessar 45mm) so "Small" ! . imight leave the 200mm home next time and go outdoors with a 20,50 +135. > 3 lens at 900 gram ?? hahah.. no more heavy bags to carry.
The 135mm @ f4 i heard it has alsmost perfect circular apeature .. heard the bokeh is really good comparing and some say its better than 85mm f1.4. Not sure till i test it myself.. you shld try it when the lens is back.
Is your 135 lens good at wide open f2.8 ? i have the shorter focal , rs version of the 50mm f1.4.. its a class of it own, so mucch much better than f1.7... @f2 .. your eyes really sparkle when you see the difference between the focused area versus the background bokeh .. i would describe it as (sharpness within the softness)
finger cross on my 135mm, hope it doesnt have problems wide open or mechanical problems.

What I found during my few days of use is that.
1.) The focusing speed is well. blazing fast. Nothing to complain in this department.
2.) Manual focus is a nightmare. Try turning such a small ring.
3.) Focusing is very finicky and unforgiving, if you point it at the wrong spot it -will- focus precisely on that wrong spot.
4.) Miraculously it almost never hunts on my 7D, even in very low light. The target can be way out of focus and the 7D nails it all the time.
5.) Build quality is nice. Feel solid and well made. Pity the focus ring is puny. I might try to add some stuff to make it slightly wider.
6.) It's rather undersized for my 7D. Makes it looked imbalanced. It's a great optic though.
