Hi everyone, for those who are using the SONY RX100v as a B Cam, I need your help.

I am trying to turn off the LCD screen when recording to save battery. I programmed one of the function keys to do so but it does not turn the LCD screen off. Programming to any custom button does not work also.

Am i missing something?

Thanks in advance.

Even if you switch to viewfinder mode?

Even if you switch to viewfinder mode?

Hi R19,

When i switch to the viewfinder mode, the LCD goes black. It is almost what i want but not quite? haha.

For example when i use the a7sII or a6300, I am using the LCD display but can program one button to turn the LCD off. The RX100V states that it can do so but I am unable to do so.

Anyone please?
