Hello and Query

Hi everyone,

Have decided to start this hobby again after 7 year lay off. My last camera was a Canon EOS 500N. I'm thinking of getting an entry level digital camera. Question is, can I use the lenses and flash I used with my Canon EOS 500N with the new Canon digital cameras? I have a Tamron 28-200 and 540EZ flash. As far as possible, I don't want to spend too much on new equipment.

If you are using EOS 500N, then the lens should be EF mount. In that case, it should be compatible with new digtal cameras. The flash, I think, can still be used, but only in manual mode.
