lens abit soft? i actually find zeiss lens a weeny bit softer than jap lens..the mamiya lens i have are freaking sharp! but german lenses "bokeh" alot more pleasant looking than mamiya.

and if u are looking at the complete system, mamiya lenses will definitely save alot of $$$$ for ur boss.

the hassey's 120/f4 macro lens is an excellent lens. the images it produces are sharp and the colours are good. that i'm very sure!

I think it is wise for prospective buyers to first read this sitepage (I noticed here people only talk about the Ixpress while there are alternatives around), they compare several backs:

http://www.luminous-landscape.com/reviews/mf-backs.shtml

An alternative would be to get the Fuji version of the H1 (exactly the same camera and lenses). For (AF) Zeiss lenses one need to get a Contax these days or go for the 6x6 Hasselblad series (but no AF).
