Hassey H1 set price?

$50k is based on the bundle price by the local agent some time back when P20/25 was launched. It shouldn't deviate much from the current actual price. Now perhaps S$55k or there abouts?
If add in the 2 lenses and other accessories, it will be much much more than $50k
i did eye it for some time. was offered 49k with standard lens and the digital back.
but my opinion is that it's not worth it.
if i recall my assessment of the set last time (so forgive me if i remember some things wrongly), it was because:
1) the AFD lenses are made by fuji instead of zeiss
2) it loses the 6x6 format which made hassy what it is
3) too expensive. a mamiya with leaf back is so much cheaper. the dynamic range of leaf is better too altho it lacks the 1/2 grey tone of imacon and p1 backs.
but my opinion is that it's not worth it.

but since u have the buying power now, you have the ability to go to the shops and ask for demo and try the stuff out for yourself. it's a hefty investment, so thorough testing from the shop and time spent is justified. (when u do, lemme tag along.. i wanna learn more too. hehehe..)

not sure of the price but expect to pay a hefty fee. Gin Studio carries the Sinar products in Singapore.
Hasslbald H1 is a very good camera. Don't be fooled thinking fuji lens can't preform. Fuji lens are the only Japanese make beside nikon used in large format cameras to panorama cameras to Xpans to even multi millon dollar aerial mapping cameras. Yes Carl Zeiss are good but there must be a sound reason why Hasselblad did the switch. Another fact I like to add is Fuji use a special type of coating call EBC. Which use laser to help to give a even coating throughout the lens element, this show they have the technology to produce fine lens.
H1 is a fast and snapy camera with multi functions. I like the fact it is 645 becuase most of us are use to rectangle format anyway and also most 22 mega pixes back are 645 size. H1 is also a camera that most digital back manufacter have made some kind of digital back for. The next close contender to H1 will have to be Contax 645. But H1 have leaf shuttler which x syrco at all speed where Contax 645 and Mamiya 645 are focal plate shuttler limiting the X syrco to 125. :what:
If you want a cheap option. Imacon have 16 mega pixes digital back to go with current Hasslbald V system going less then S$18K. Phase one also have used 11 to 22 mega pixes digital selling S$20K and below, check with Rudy Imaging. :sweatsm:

My ulimate set will have to be Hasselbald H1 with a HC 50-110 zoom lens and leaf aptus 22 digital back. Also dun forget an apple G5 dual 2.4 processor and 4 gigz RAM, Epson 4000 large format printer. I hope santa is listerning batter get a huge sock :bsmilie: :sweat: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:
