I realised the background was having some grey patches, is it because of the jpeg conversion is not able to handle such big file, or the back drop is grey? :dunno:

Thanks Denis, Scotts & cos for their kind assistance and guidance.

I am new to this and looking to learn fr everyone.

Must also express my gratitude to Denis and Singcott.

Hi Jack , the 2 images were great ! I missed a great session . had to leave early la.

I am surprised to find a medium format club with strong going in Singapore that allows Photographers to share information in medium format Photography. Who is this Scott and how may i join these photography activities? Our photo agency has also gone into this shooting format. It sure opens up lots of opportunites.

Hi guys,

would really like to join future outings as well, need to learn to fully ultilise the 500cm.
Especially when using in studio. Great photos btw. :)

It sure does open opportunities ... just look at Singscott's profile picture in his website :bsmilie:

.

Singscott started this thread and got Denis of Shriro to adopt the HUG .
we meet every first tuesday of the month , 6-8.30 pm at Shriro House - the Studio.
Singscott is a practicing proffessional who still finds time to share with us especially setting up the elaborate Profoto lighting system the Studio has.

Denis arranges interesting subjects for us ( photographers with Hasselblads to mobile phone cameras) and provide food and drinks all free. ( We do bring some titbits to share sometimes)

we get to play with the Hassy 31 ,39 million pixel cameras ( the $ 30k to $40k stuff some of us could never afford to own ) and fit 22 million digital backs to our old 500s and 503s.

All considerate photographers are welcomed . Some like Willis ,most of the time , come by just to chat. See you guys 5th of May.

Hi Hassy user,
I am very interested to join the user group. I had mine almost 17 years back. During the time I had a 500CM & SWC. I really missed the beauty of SWC. hope to have one again....and hope to learn something from you guys. By the way do I need to register for the event?

Hi... I am too. It's just that every first tuesday, something will miraculously pop up and I will not be free to attend HUG sessions.. as with the following one on the 5th as well... sigh..One fine day.. haha..

Hi guys,

i know this sounds sheepishly amateur...but erm......anybody has the manual for the 120mm Makro planer?

How to use those rings?!?!?!?! and that little orange button?!

BTW, i was quite surprised that the back of the makro planer seems quite "bare" can see the "screw thread when i "focus" the lens"?.....unless i got a lemon copy (cross my fingers not)

There is this Hasselblad service guru named Boon soon at service_support@shriro.com.sg .
Helpful chap . Sometimes stays back for the HUGs . Others will also help at the gatherings. But it really sounds like a lemon...
