Well, just got them today, and they work fine on the GX1 charger and sleep mode works properly on the GX1 as well. Just a FYI if you're looking for cheap alternatives.

Exactly the same one I bought. Also received it today. We may have ordered on the same day. Only thing is have not tried charging it. Btw mine came as 1400mah instead of 1050mah. If the increase is real, that's a real bonus.

I doubt it's a real increase, because if it is, the battery sleep mode would not have worked on the GX1 apparently.

Well as long as it last as long as the original battery, that is good enough. I ever bought battery for my dslr. It was very light and did not last long. This one weighs as heavy as original. Hope it last as well.

Sleep mode is definately more important to me. If short I can always buy more since it is so cheap.

Okay since I have a very nice weighing scale: Original battery 437gm, DSTE 464gm.

I use dste in my gh2 & gf3. So far the last longer than my originals. I think the ratings are correct

Using this Panasonic pouch DMW-CG3-K I bought from Taobao to store my stuff. The little pouch in black is the LVF2 live viewfinder. This goes into my daily work bag so when I have a moment of inspiration can take it out.

Regarding GX1 spare batt...asked Harvey Norman , directed me to funan HN only 2 pieces left, on the phone said $115, called TKfoto original $112 no stock, 3rd party $35.... Went down funan HN listed price $95, ask the guy sell cheaper, he said 85, minus the $30 voucher from buying GX1 last mth only pay $55 for original batt. : happy!
