Either use the Cam LCD screen or bring a Notebook or use their PC to check (must take a black screen shot first). I was lazy and forgot this is the 1st time I buy from them. I suppose to bring my friend there to buy accessories but end up buying the F11 myself. :sweat:
BTW, I suspect only hor! Not confirmed yet.

Previously wanted to get from Bally Photo at $615 for same deal but always no stock so gave up and my friend recommend this shop.
Best price i find. They don't have 1GB bundle when i buy. Don't know have or not now.
PS : I not related to the shop just sharing info.

In reply to whchee2000, it may well be a problem with the card reader chipset. I had card readers using the Genesys G816E (sorry got to open up) which could read AND write to SmartMedia (SM).
I tried another one (I want my readers to have a built-in longish USB tail) and it can't write to SM. Of course :-( this was helpfully mentioned in the readme file on the driver CD. Think it was an EUCR chipset?

Yes, they change for me today. I must say the service is good :thumbsup: on both occasions. The person I deal with in TK Photo is called Richard, a nice guy. After explain to him my problem, he agree to let me check the exchange set on the spot using my notebook software to settle the exchange. He even quietly transfer my screen protector from the old set to the exchnage set without me asking. I was prepared to pay for a new screen protector for the exchange set.pop said:

$640 with 512xD(think its type M, but original Fuji) and case. I hadnt really noted the best market price for package price with 512mb but thinking back, paying add $25 for good service was worth it for a newbie buyer
Can really commend Samuel for his helpfulness. Whatever models i expressed an interest in, he would instantly take the camera out of the box for me to play around with(even models i hadnt mentioned, he would just take it out for me to have a look, even if it is slightly troublesome for him to wipe off smudges off the Fuji Z2 aftwards). Not often when you have such a trusting salesman who allows you to play with whatever cam u want to have a look at :thumbsup:
Tested the camera on wednesday nite with some esplanade shoots with friends. Pictures can turn up rather sharp even under night conditions once i've gotten used to it. Shot ard 60 images and ard 1hr and the batt indicator was still full!
Looking forward to exploiting the F11's full potential.
(I've borrowed my sis Sony T3 for a school project before and its rather disconcerting to have the battery life indicator counting down in minutes. :thumbsup: for F11's battery life!)

Glad to share what I know. I am no expert in this, there are others better than me. First you must take an all black color picture. That is no light at all. For F11, the A/S/M mode (i.e. manual, semi manual mode) help a lot. Cover the len with a pouch or use a len cap.pop said:
Then use the Cam's LCD zoom in and check any bright spot on an all black picture. The bright spot is either dead pixel (bright white colour) or hot pixel ( green, red blue, very colourful) depend on how you take the photo. Or download the black picture to notebook and use picture editor software to zoom in to check. this is the visual approach.
Another check is using software such as Dead Pixel Test from Star Zen Technology (is free). Run it on the black image and the software will tell you any dead/hot pixel exists. Take note that this software is not perfect, it could make mistake so always do a visual check to back up the software result.
I am no expert because I can't see it on my notebook (13"screen). My friend can see in his IBM notbook so he print out the hard copies for me. I can only figure out from the Dead Pixel Test run in my notebook that there is a dead pixel.
