U are right.
I had never mentioned that the surplus come from tax. However, if a govt wants to generate surplus using tax, then he is asking for trouble!

Whenever u do purchase, ur IC (or special card) need to be scanned. Depend on ur salary, GST will be charge according. You earn more, you pay more. Fair?
If fair, this world would be peaceful. There are no fairness in this world. This is life, we got to live by it. Some time I wonders, isn't death a good solution out before the world don't know become what. :bigeyes::bsmilie:

I think it is good way to charge GST. But wait a minute but how about those who earn big bucks, enjoy all the benefits; never pay income tax, as they stay in 3-room HDB flats and they never declare their income?

then i will got to buy camera with my 70 years old grandpa. upon making payment, i point at him..saying that he is the one who pays.
since my 70year old grand had retired many years ago has no income, so he would not be charged any GST.
