damn.. i am so deeply tempted to pre order,
the price which is unknown but with they keep saying it's a good price.. ARgh.... :angry:
And if the AF is so much better at low light, it really make me want to jump in. If i have the mojo. :sticktong

I had convinced myself I do not need it in the near future. High iso? Not that critical: I can live by 1600 on the k7. Better AF? I am a MF person. Other than that k7 = k5 for me. Lol.

K5 is quite got much interested for Thai Pentaxians, the thing is Thai distrubutor has a poor marketing and stock for Pentax cam & gear. Still do not know any word about K5 here. We got news only from many abroad websites. If K5 available in Singapore may b some of us will fly there for pleasure and get it if the price is right. Any advise?

Well you should be able to find the cameras at the stores soon.
Within Funan Center there is SLR Revolution, T K Photo and Alan Photo, At Sim Lim Square (be careful, it can be a tourist trap for the unwary) the only two reputable shops are Orient Photo and Alan Photo. There is also Manly in Chinatown, Cathay Photo in Peninsular Plaza and M S Color at Ang Mo Kio town outside the city. As a tourist don't forget to claim part of your GST before you leave the country. You can give the agent Emjay a call if you need any clarification or further info.

make sure you find out the price before you go alan photo, there have been some complaints here and there.. OP should be fine.

I was quite nicely surprised to discover the shutter counts of my K5 is now zero from factory, I think I took about 3 test shots (1 or 2 at Emjay) before this one I recalled K7 was lot more like 50 shots when I bought new last year.
