my view - it's a fun camera, good for specific scenes and uses but other than that, i would be sticking to my dslr video for now

Is it worth to get gopro 3?

Depends on what u r getting it for.
Apart from fixing it onto my bicycle, I also attach my GoPro HD2 onto rental car bonnets
during self drive overseas holidays for trip recording. The full HD IQ is pretty good.
I have also used it to do simple timelapse in good light in areas where my DSLR might be too inconvenient.

It is a rather fun camera to use, if you have a use for it

Can I know whether Hero3 you set it to auto take the shots at every certain interval or you have to manually take the photos at every certain interval ?

got the mode la. u try taking photo manually at every interval on your current can for few hrs.

using kingston 32gb class 10, no such issue - but when first tried, got the "SD ERR" sign .. had to reformat the card using from inside the camera then okay ... but now still cannot shoot in 2.7k properly (auto-stop after 10secs or so), other modes are working fine

- original display stand that came with the box
> convert to tripod mount

Yes. only difference is if you buy from US you have to send it back yourself, like I did the last time.

if buy locally I think the shop will handle, not to sure.

thinking of punching 4 holes at the corners of the base plate - then add on suction systems -- see if can be strong enough to use in car windscreen as well ... "the search begins!" hehe
