Bought it from Parisilk Holland Village for ~$370,
It cannot take both video and photo simultaneously. Would have to switch from Video to Photo mode from the Menu if you want to take still photos.

nice move; I was contemplating to get this as I have been waiting for Hero3. Do share with us the stills and video takes will ya?

I believe the Hero3 has got more dynamic range than any other sportscam out there. I don't mind waiting and spending extra on the hero3. For slowmo lovers, you get 120fps at 720p which is really incredible. Sorry, i'm just blown away by the video below. Completely sold!

At 1:40 to 1:50. I saw the man wearing a GoPro camera on the helmet. But the shot of 1:40 to 1:50 is not taken with by the camera on the helmet.

How do you take this shot ? How to standby need another person to "follow" the guy to take the shot ?

basically the best set up is to have several cameras planted at different angles.

To all who purchased the Hero 3 black edition.The current firmware was not updated to include the function that could link to the ipad and iphone wirelessly. There will be an firmware update and app update on 14 Dec 2012 to include this function.

Just take note, the white version cannot change FOV, only ultra-wide in any Res...............Silver/Black can change wide-medium-narrow. Should state this stark difference somewhere....in the end my fault coz kinda confuse between the 3 ver.
