if you look closely at the packaging, it says 'imported by heinz sinsin' ?

At least still have the Sinsin one.. wonder why they wanna discontinue it.. its quite nice actually.

Probably cost more than anything else.

A lot of folks dun know dat Macs have been slowly and quietly changing their recipies over time. Even the store Mgrs will admit it to customers if 'asked'.

McDonalds are using a different kind of chili sauce. You actually have to go to a designated place to 'pump' out the chili. Its more of a sweet chili but not a bad taste afterall.

Change is the only constant in society. : )

Ketchup is the best:thumbsup: Switch over to Ketchup now:bsmilie::sticktong

Perhaps we can start an online petition for Macdonalds to continue the garlic chilli?

Now they phased out the garlic chilli. Maybe next is the ketchup:bsmilie:

Actually if their purpose is to cut cost on packaging and want us to use the pump, they can put garlic chilli into it.

Mind revealing more details? Did not notice the change in recipe

Maybe it is an integration of western and chinese recipe? Nowadays everywhere is talking about 中西合壁

What I DO miss is the old sweet chilli sauce.. which reached EOL =(

heard that the cost of 1 little pack of garlic chilli sauce is abt $0.01...imagine
how many packs have been consumed or thrown away without opening it in
a day...its no wonder why mac want to discontinue it..can definately save
a lot of $$..but to us consumers, its really bad news :(

I grew up on ketchup... Never chili sauce. So I really don't care.

That being said, the old sauce is made by Heinz.

Next time.... Bring Your Own

My favorite Macdonalds burger - The Quarter Pounder - They got rid of it.
My favorite Macdonalds breakfast item - The Mcbiscuit with sausage and egg (cannot really recall its official name liao) - they got rid of it too.
And now they are getting rid of my favorite chilli sauce.

Nothing much left for me to go to Macdonalds already.

my favorite is orange mcfizz, they got rid of it also....
