Hi,

When everybody talk about buying electrical equipments in Lucky Plaza, we always receive negative comments more than possitive feedbacks.

I bought D300 from Lords last Sat at a special price cheapest among all reliable shops that i have called, as i bought all my camera equipments from him in the past. That day, he (Kelvin) offer me a brand new D300, with zero shutter count (when i check at home).

I am quite busy during weekdays and only weekends i was able to play with this baby. I called Kelvin when i found there is a dead white pixel yesterday (8 days later). Without question ask, he offer me 1-to-1 exchange. Today, i indeed get the camera replaced, it is a zero count camera again and with serial number newer than what i owned previously.

After getting my camera changed, i ask if i can try out 55-200VR and 70-300VR. He immediately let me try the lens, and even offer me to walk around the complex to try out. After 15 minutes trying on both lens, i decided not to buy and told him they are quite slow to me. He just smile and keep the lens into the box and advice me "buy f2.8 la.."

I bought D80, 18-200, 24-70 and now D300 from Lords, all at special rate and enjoying this kind of "VIP" service. I did not receive any credits from Lords by writting this, but I just would like to salute on his good service attitude and honesty.

i have bought a lens from Lords too. pretty friendly and good pricing too.

wow, did heard about this place but never have the chance to visit.. will make sure i call them up on my next BBB

Hi,,

Good new.... any tel for this shop???

Thanks.:)

I bought my D70S, 18-200mm from Lord's, subsequently I upgraded to D80, same shop, so far very good price with friendly service.

Last year I bought a 50MM F1.8 from them again, the lens was slightly front focus, so I went to NSC, while they acknowledged the problem, they said couldnt resolve it as it was working as disigned. At the end they said they would help contact the shop where I bought the lens from and see if the shop could help. I told NSC they should not pass the bug to the shop. And I told them I would get help from Lord's directly.

At the end I went to the Lord's, though it was a cheap lens, Raymond replaced it for me with no questions asked.

You can't get NSC to repair it and then, Lord's exchanged it for you. Strange. Just curious, what can Lord's do to correct the lens? Pressure NSC to repair it FOC because Lord's has a greater bargaining power? Lord's will repair it at own cost?

You must be a real good customer/close friend of Lord's if not I doubt they will do it for you FOC.

I'd much rather credit Lords where credit is due for going the extra mile.

That's how you win "good customers"...

Will Lord resell your "lemon" to others?

yap... kelvin is a nice guy. i bought my first dslr from him years ago. wonder if he still remember me the next time i go there....

If looking for Nikon pruduct, Lords is definity the choice.

I hate Kelvin of Lord's :sticktong he is just great in service and giving good price. Ended up making me bought 50f1.4, 85f1.8 & 70-200VR within 2 months :sweatsm:

:sweatsm:

Understand your situation. :bsmilie:
He has BBB virus injection FOC.

There's why need to swallow 3 large antidote :bsmilie::sweatsm:

I have similar experience, 2 week ago when I bought a Nikon 24-70F2.8... didn't have chance to test it out until 2 days later.. found that it front focus... yes... the 24-70F2.8 pro-grade lens front focus and my D300 AF fine tune couldnt fully correct it. Called NSC the next day and they tried to find me a replacement but no dealer have stocks and they say they cannot repair the front focus too (Maybe the lens too new??), so I went back to LORDS and show it to Raymond which check the lens and indeed found it to front focus quite a bit. No question asked, he immediately replace one for me from his ex-stocks... my experience with Raymond at LORDS have always being great...

Yup there are "A Few Good Men" at Lords.

my friend bought his D80 from LORDS.
he said LORDS have the cheapest pricing for D80 around.

wow! only good comments from everyone about Lords. Only 1 post says he "hate" Lords for giving good price and made him part with his money and later went back again to give them some money.

So, I must try not to go there to avoid the BBB virus.

Seriously, I must go there to check it out to see if I miss anything - but I must not bring my wallet , hehehe.

Lords is a great shop with good pricing , so far had good exp with raymond
