will be going to Taipei in May. Which lenses should I bring? Currently I'm thinking of my 12-24, 50 and 24-120 (all Nikon). I guess there is no need for the 80-200.
Well, if it's architecture, you can try the new Taipei Arena at the intersection of Nanking East and Dunhua North Road or the Miramar Ferris Wheel in Neihu. The best view of 101 is actually from Elephant Hill (have to walk quite a bit).
taipei is a nice place to visit. i like taiwan too, especially their national parks and of cuz their food. it depends yr tour duration and the places you wanted to visit. if you're just travelling to taipei only, i got some links here for ya which provide more than enuff info on taipei county and taipei city respectively. hope it helps. cheers and have fun!

Ah... this is what I like to see. Corporate world terms it as "Value Add".

Ask yourself what is your sole purpose of this trip. Generally speaking, 12-24 is wide enough for landscape. 50 is good for walkabout. 80-200? Heavy lah.... maybe not unless you wish to capture and do a "Birds of Taipei" series. Sorry, my cold joke. Ignore...hehe...
