Getting to know my NIKON D800

Currently looking for bigger memory cards, if you do not shoot fast you do not need a fast card.

Have tested with a 300x lexar 2gb card without problems.

Class 4 sd cards are too slow, no problem shooting but it takes time to view the images.

Based on my shooting speed, price per gb of the cards and that my iMac has a built in sd card reader, I have decided to use sd cards as my main memory.

So I have just bought 2x 32gb lexar

Hi, Just got my review of this lens, Tokina 17mm f/3.5 ATX
The lens image very sharp than the nikon 17-35mm f/2.8D, The minor distortion only.

Thanks for your 1st poisoning photo is taken with this lens. heheh

why don't you try the Nikon 24-70 2.8 or the 70-200 2.8 lenses on the D800 so you can really appreciate the sharpness?

just mounted a nikon 16-35 f4 and did some test shots in this rainy weather and bad light
from the LCD, i am impressed, will bring it out to gardens by the bay tomorrow

The 16-35mm f4 together with the d800 is quite a beast in size but balances nicely in my hands

What is the price of 16-35mm f4? I'm intending to fit my Nikon 17-55 f2.8 on D800. What's yr take? On the web, I don't read review on this setup....
