I am not sure how participants would like me to assist.
Here are some simple thoughts. I think there will be at least three sessions
1 The first will be on exposing the negative. I will have to explain a little of the zone system (do not worry! just very simple concepts that will help you to decide how to expose the negative). Then participants will go and take pictures.
This session is mostly "talk"! I can take as many people as there are space in my office - which is about 10-15. Or more if we can find a bigger place.
2 Developing the negatives and evaluating them. This session will be a little more troublesome because we will need chemicals, tanks, beakers etc. Participants will need to bring their own stuff. I have some to lend to those who have nothing. But at most only for 5 persons.
3 Printing. This is the most troublesome because we need enlargers. Mine is a make-shift darkroom, and I can only have maximun two persons with me. There will be people who will only wish to develop negatives and scan them. So probably there will be less people than those who want only to develop their negatives. For those who want to do trad printing, you must have a source to do your own printing. For these people, I can try to arrange to have two persons at a time over a period.
I value any input to add, change, and modify the above thoughts.
Thanks!
