There you got it..being paranoid is not doing any good but wasting your own time. U need to set it somewhere. and leave it for a good 3-5 hrs for it to settle down. If you keep opening and turning that little knob. You are basically screwing it up.

By doing so, you will never know how high or low this setting can get and where to adjust.

Normally is set one time then forget it Liao lo. I set mine at 50 RH. Now is ard that limit.

Sometimes even longer than that. I suppose you could set it, go to bed and check the next morning. If still not within range, then go to school/work and check again when you come back home.. Relax, fungi ain't gonna grow overnight..

ok, i did not open the cabinet since last night and the RH still remains at 73 (since last night around 10pm)
my current setting now is around 2:30-3am/pm at the red region.
this is around there right? i just want the RH to go down.

Just set it at about 1200hrs & let it work for hours, do not open the cabinet if you want to see the changes.

Tonite set it to 2pm and go to sleep. The bigger the cabinet the longer it take to set in

The important part now is: hands off. Give it time to settle and see what the result is. But keep in mind: the position (e.g. 2 o'clock) is not the same for all cabinets, important is the reading on the RH meter.

ok, one thing...

i set it to the red region. is it ok??

if i am not wrong, left is green from 6am to 9am
middle is blue from 10am to 1pm
red would be 2pm to around 5pm?

Ok is when it reaches target RH. The colours give an indication about 'more humid' or 'more dry'. Set, wait, adjust when necessary, wait etc ..

Is there a chance that my dry cabi could be faulty??

Of course, nothing lasts forever and is free of fault. To verify whether your dry cabinet works you can simply do a 'manual check' - literally. Simply follow these steps, it's safe and easy, nothing to worry. Open the door, pull out the upper tray so that the dehumidifier unit is easy accessible. This unit consists of two parts: the right side where the knob is (and some simple electronics behind) and the left side where the actual 'drying work' is done. The upper side of the left part is open. Take a finger and check inside. There is a metal part (so-called Peltier element) which must be cold and should be a bit wet. If it is so, then the system works and all what is needed is patience. Turn the knob to 'red' and leave it.
If the metal part is not cold then the unit is faulty and needs servicing. If it is a small dry cabinet just bring it to the Service Center (see address at warranty card or website) and have it checked and fixed. If it is a bigger one you can also use a screwdriver, remove the 6 screws that hold the dehumidifier in place and bring only this part and the warranty card to the Service Center. For DigiHub it's in Tagore Lane, off Upper Thomson Rd. Did this already 2 times, service is fast and works well.

ok damn... the mental part is not wet at all which explain why the system is not working.
mine is 50L, can i just bring down the whole set like this?? or do i have to remove the screws or whatever??

The mental part..? Nah, that box ain't got no brain :)
You can remove the screws, if you like and if you want to make your life a bit easier. Standard procedure would be to lug the entire cabinet down to Tagore Lane. Don't forget warranty card and receipt.

Crap man!!!
if i have lost the receipt but i still got the warranty card.
do u think if i go down, they will entertain me?

Yup, they will. Do you have a dealer stamp on the card? Just fill in the rest with your data. Last time I went there 3 weeks ago and they only checked the card but never asked for receipt.

Yes, I drive down with only the dehumidifier unit in my bag :) .. or better riding, since I use motorbike. I have a 100l type cabinet, no way I drag this thing around if it's only 6 screws and even the Service Center does not mind this at all. Easier for them anyway :)

Just do it, especially if you don't have the receipt with you. Looks like being a good customer and following instructions :)

That time mine got problem, they come over an one to one with me.
