DHC is digital control, AD is analog control

Just get a digi cabi 50L from Parisilk & unlikely u will upgrade anymore. The new AD-50N come with digital hygrometer with no battery require. Retail price is $178 which you can get it at Parisilk @ $168. This model come with pull out tray which the 30L don't.

if it is the digital version, just calibrate one time and that's it. right??
No need, for AD just adjust to desired RH and you can leave it
xmysticalzx said:ok.
just that for the first time, analog will take a longer to get calibrated to the desired RH?
digital is faster?
so for my case, analog is sufficient?
Analog is sufficient in any case even for pros. It's the capacity you have to worry about
Csboi said:Yes, capacity is more important. Sigh think my 23L is insufficient.

are most of u here using digital or analog ones??
Pardon for hijacking thread
Besides dslr n lens, what else should be put inside??
Flash??
Wanna take into consideration before I buy
As long as you don't forget them there's nothing wrong with storing them inside the dry cabinet. Rechargeable batteries have a self discharge, once they are below a certain level they cannot be used anymore (Lithium Ion types) or need special charging with refresh / reformatting (NiMH).
Batteries are not sensitive to certain humidity levels.
ok. now it decreased to 68% but the RH is decreasing at a slow rate. this is normal eh??
mine now is pointing towards 1am/pm, around the blue area right??
