Here's my "good from far, far from good" birding shot, oriental magpie robin, thanks for the ID guys. Learnt from motionstills & TH some exposure techniques, very useful.

Yes. For sunrise, spidey89 was using his nikon d700, richardfoo with fuji xpro1, the rest mix of olympus and panasonic bodies. Birding all were m43 bodies wi5h m43 lenses. Except shiosaki who had adapted sigma 70-300 (mf), a zd 70-300 was used as well.

Ya, no sharpening, certainly not best example of what the lens can do though, the AF is rather indecisive (not an excuse haha). it's also a fine 1:2 macro lens.

Guess there is only that much AF can do through an adapter , can see the potential of this lens, shooting handheld with a long big lens like this on a small body is never ez.

For birding, it was done at Satay By The Bay, not too big a place to explore, great place to bird.

Bro WongLP, this shot is proof of lens not long enough, next time we go, we try to get even closer. A friend of mine gave a talk once on how to do birding with a 70-200mm on a Full Frame, so we got more to learn. LOL
