Hope we can find both female and male, the last time we saw the female was on 16 Mar, around 11am If no DR, no problem, there are still plenty of Sunbirds and Mynas, better then going home empty-handed :cheergal::bsmilie:

Oh well not impossible, 12-50mm gives 100mm FOV @ 50mm, that's in the mid-telephoto range, though a little short for small birds and those perching high, but with some luck and patience, you may be able to get close to those perching low and still have a decent shot.

Wear clothing that will blend in to the environment, like camouflaged colors or subdued shades of brown, green and gray. Avoid bright colors, especially white, which many birds see as a danger warning. Also birds have exceptional hearing, so be very quiet when approaching, avoid things that may rattle when walking and put mobile phone on silent

for those who drive and staying till kopi session it's probably better to park at open carpark near MBS along bayfront boulevard. If leaving early, either this or GBTB carpark is ok. Hope for good weather tmrw! Will be bringing spare stuff like ND filters, tripod and remote cable (Pen/EM5).

For birding part, an ideal place there is satay by the bay, so if do not want to walk too much, park at garden by the bay side, then can drive over to satay by the bay, otherwise walk from flower dome to there is ok too
