Gather young and newbie

All newbie can join,even pns or phone cam.

And as stated above,we are trying to make a "chit chat outing", i mean just to meet each others first,not for photography,just to know each others,chit chat. The time will be next week of next next week. Those who want to join please read the above post for more info , and if u want to join,add ur name or nick in the list like tamiya_model did. If u don't have any suggestion about time or place,just add ur name,leave blank about name and place. About the location, i'm still trying to find the place, but it may change depend on how many join the list. And don't worry,it'll happen on sat or sun, at somewhere near public transport,or at least nearest. After i find the location,i'll post time,place,how to get there on this thread and will pm who are on the list. Number of people may be limited.
*Any suggestion,comment will be not be taken lightly. I do need sugestion about location. Hope next or next next week can see u.

Today I just relearn how to use a DSLR camera..reading the manual since yesterday. (serious)

I dont think the young and old is a problem. we may have generation gap by in photography, there is no barrier. To the young newbie, just dont be shy, CSer generally are friendly ppl. Go in group for the 1st few outings to understand and get comfortable with the other members. Outings is the best and fastest way to learn.

just by looking at the response, i don't think the outing would be any sooner. it's better to set a date then go with it.

Yeah, i agree.. think it'll definitely be hard to fit the outing into everybody's schedule.. perhaps with watever responses we hav right now, we fix one that can better accomodate everyone.. then prob gradually may hav more people confirm along the way..

* I need to ask u guys some advise :sweat: (sorry ,i don't know Singapore so well ) I myself think that if we just sit down and talk or chit chat, as soon as we finish the introduction part , i don't think we have much to talk. So i think may be we can combine the meeting with go around take photo ,is it ok ? There are a saying that to know each other ,figher must fight, so for photographers ..........:sweatsm:

As i come to Singapore to study,not really get to know all place in Singapore (though everyday i carry my cam walk around ,hi hi hi ) So i do need advise for the location.
I got suggestion about these place but not sure about that, what u think :

1-meet at botanic garden ( I don't really like this idea )

2-Chinese garden ( after receive the suggestion i go there to check,not so bad the view but
like desert,no people,meet the very big lizard )

3-Pasir ris park (haven't go there check)

4-the durian theater = esplanade ( quite ok, i like this idea althought this place have been shoot to death especially at night but daylight have interesting activities happen around )

5-Bishan park (not sure where is this,haven't check )



To oneheart : You are vietnamese or just go there as tourist ? I'm VNmese if u need any advise can ask me, if i know will help u.

To deswitch : That's the spirit ! :thumbsup: , i should give :thumbsd: to myself when i'm a bit bias about young and old , but this help people who can't really get over the age gap u know, as the first step is the hard one, just feel good for the first outing, dare to join, no shy,the next and ever won't be that haed anymore. (my humble idie )

Guys, i want to keep this outing small for the first time, large group can't control and not really helpful. Now we got 5 already,only take in 1 or 2 more. Yeah.. so exciting.. i would like the idea, we can go esplanade n the suntec motor show.. i like vespa scooter.. but too small to handle one.. i'll rent a scooter to ride around when i'm in Thailand (some islands). But we can also do some research on nice places.. perhaps can consolidate n plan for the next outing. There's a thread on nice places here..
