Hmm.. saw your pics and feel that some of them are under exposed.. and the focus is abit out for some of them, is it intentionally or on purpose?

hopefully got 2nd outing, just got my FZ-10 and have no idea on photography. I just shoot what i like. Maybe can learn new stuff thru outing.

Guess we can actually take a couple more people this time round, what you guys think? Maybe we try 8 newbies, grouped into 2 groups of 4 for easy movement ?

Suggestion on venue, we can move around Orchard area. Apart from people, cityscape, there is also this Kinloss House nearby (colonial building) we can go shoot.

Hi Jack, as the tittle implies, only newbies ages below 30 are allowed. You're still interested to learn about the basic thing about photography, even though you might have the most expensive equipment or best lens in the world.

Don't worry if you don't have a DSLR.

another idea, let do it on Christmas Eve, 24th Dec 2006. Hopefully everyone who attended 1st session can make it on that day. we can shoot the christmas lights and the crowd at night as well.

I'm 23 this year, honestly I own a dslr but never once consider myself as a pro. Because I truly believe that a noob with a great camera, is still a noob. Whereas a decent photographer with an average camera, can create miracles.

So I guess I'm qualified? heehee.

This time i must go

street photography is good.
But i think should go 25 or someother day, shouldn't go on Christmas. Reason ? Christmas is mean to stay with ur family or with the one u love,feel the warm of love in the cold night and cherish

My cam is part of family,part of my heart but it can't be everything

I feel like i'm moving back to film because my RF suit me well in streetphotography ( which i like best)

Not a good idea to bring out DSLR on christmas eve.. Unless.... Those blur and shaky photos taken can earn back to buy new cam.

Okiez, guess from the response, let's fix the 2nd Outing.

Date: 25th Nov 2006
Time: 9.30am to 1.30pm
Capacity: 2 teams of 4 photographers

Programme for the day: We'll "walk as we shoot", will issue out a list of "missions" each team have to shoot en-route. Shall gather at 12.30pm for lunch and sharing till 1.30pm.

For those interested, please PM me with your Nick, Name, Email, Hp. Incomplete PMs will be ignored. Places allocated on 1st come 1st serve basis.

Once confirmed, will let you know where to meet up.
