That is very good price, List price is $39 from Canon. OEM lenstube from AP also $30.

The OEM lens adapter (52mm) can add-on HOYA filters (52mm).

i am referring to the OEM lens adapter leh... and becos my cousin is going back to states liao...so i have to get a temporary OEM adapter lor... no choice cos the original no stock yet leh.

any tripod to recommend for the g3 ?:dunno:

hi G3 user,

I got some questions. I need some recomendation on Compact Flash, for 256 MB which brand is good and around how much? Maybe the shop also.

Yesterday I connect my G3 to my comp thru USB cable, I was playing with gphoto in Linux OS. The battery status before I connect is not empty, nor is full. I only turn on the camera once while connected to the the comp, after that I turn off the camera while it is still connected. After I disconnect the USB and try to turn on, the camera did not on. It is strange coz the batt should not be empty. Anyone know why this thing happen? Was the connection to my Linux comp drained the battery?

Is there a way to discharge the battery thru a manual way? Maybe a function in the camera or from the software supplied?

How about Slik U8000/U9000? U6600 also seems a good choice...slightly lighter than the prev. two mentioned.

Yes, is like a sub-help group in Canon section so we can PM/email each other on questions and prices. No point PM a Canonite who use D60 unless he happen to own a G1/2/3 as second DC. So those who don't like to receive PM/email, please add "Pls Do Not Disturb" next to your nick in the G3 List, .
