No photos yet, but I had some time on my hand yesterday evening and mounted all my 4/3 lens on the E-P1 to play with.

I particularly like the E-P1 plus 50mm macro combo. The 50mm can't to contrast detect auto focus, so it was pretty slow on the E-P1. But once I set it on manual focus, it was a joy to use and play with.

Now I understand why some of you guys here are still playing with legacy lenses with manual focus, it is actually a lot fun!

It's a really enjoyable little camera, so very versatile.
Personally I find the screen resolution very good for manual focus, the zoom 'enlarger' mode makes fine focusing even easier.

Setup:
-E-P1 camera mounted with M42->m43 adapter mated to a Mamiya Sekor 55mm f/1.4
-Added yellowish grad to the top to create the 'look' i wanted.

Kinda look like 小馒头 hor? ;p

haha, yes, from a different point of view.

My first impression is that it has groovy psychedelic colors reminiscent of the 1960s (Austin Powers would love this ). In that respect, it amounts to a hip retro look.

there are two options (and you'll laugh at this)
1. canon 5D MII
2. a M4/3 camera like ep or gf or the upcoming fuji...

thanks madmacs, you really should! in fact i brought along the olym 40-150mm and ended up in cold storage at hotel! i had all my 3000+ shots captured solely on the panny without breaking my back :bsmilie:

pity i couldnt get hold of the 7-14mm for the trip tho
