thanks madmacs, you really should! in fact i brought along the olym 40-150mm and ended up in cold storage at hotel! i had all my 3000+ shots captured solely on the panny without breaking my back :bsmilie:

pity i couldnt get hold of the 7-14mm for the trip tho :(

anyone know which shop has stock for the 20 f/1.7? was out of stock at ms color.

anyway i just got a panny 14-140 HD for video. the 14-42 is really noisy when shooting video with c-af. the 14-140 is silent by comparison.

you may like to check with AP or even some of the camera shops in far east plaza (near escalator)

those shops are no-fly zone for me ;p i have to slowly hunt for that lens.

Haha, I've done my fair bit of searching previously and these shops, to my surprise, offered the most competitive price as compared to the usual suspects!

Some shots from my E-P1 with VC 40mm f1.4.
Manual focusing was tedious but also fun...

All shots taken at Merlion Park with permission from their guardians.
No pp except for cropping of #1 and #5.

Thanks for viewing.

wongsan, that is an interesting lens, and it seems to be one difficult beast to tame at the same time... interesting if you can bring it down for the weekend night shoot should you want to join us. The set up would be nice to look at (and letting me molest your set up).

Cheers.

The lens will definitely perform better in better hands :D
I will bring all my barang barang for the weekend night shoot for sure.

Doing my little part to promote the EP-1...wide angle taken with Zuiko 7-14 and adapter.

Kimbo, very nice photos. Thank you.

Nice photo. I would love to go back to Myanmar, it is very rustic. :)

Trying out the Zuiko Digital 50mm macro lens on the E-P1 using manual focus.

Did some cropping, level adjustment, and added vignettes... continue to be amazed by the sharpness of the 50mm, and the lovely colours from Olympus.

That is just a reflection of the subject on the ballerina image.

Either that it is multiple exposure technique. Both can achieve the same results.

So I finally got my e-p1, cant tell how happy I am :D Slightly dissapointed after release of e-p2 and still going for e-p1.

Here are two photos from zoom kit lens. I love the pin hole effect. Both are out of camera, only pin hole effect added in oly software at second one.

By the way, do you know this type of food?
