Thanks for viewing!!

Oh, this is originally in color, as I always shoot in RAW. Then convert to B&W if desired ...

If you only shoot in jpeg, then you have to set the camera first to B&W. Change the setting under Picture Mode to Monotone, and select B&W filter.

Or use the Art filter. I never use them, this is only for jpeg shooters.

.

I see. I am still trying to figure out a good composition. Think I may have to start picking up shooting RAW format.
Thanks!

Very cute kid, mine no longer wants me to take a picture of her :bsmilie:

Few random ones at the park yesterday with the E-P1 and Lumix 20mm.

No problem. Well, jpegs are fine of course for most purposes. I like RAW because I prefer more control in my images, and I can come up with several results from one image. It's like a negative from which several results can be printed out from.

Only for those with time to do it of course. One can also shoot RAW and jpeg together, but it increases storage requirements.

Below is another example of manipulated RAW. The new E-P2 has a new cross-process art filter, it will be good enough for most folks I guess. But there are different types of cross-process results from film, and even more digitally, but one has to work on it. Basically, one can get more creative with a RAW image if desired.

And here are my bikers, one on the way to sell his Buddha, where I played around with the tonal contrast.

Solid children shots!!

Thank you. The EP1 has almost become my permanent kid shooting cam. hahaha. Some bitch about it's slow AF but I still haven't find much problem with it.

haha, yes, got to bribe her now. Well, I just ordered a Naruto headband (she likes to watch Naruto), and other Naruto stuff for her. I'll get some Ninja pictures of her soon for sure :bsmilie:

Maybe you need to pay her modelling fees. Hahaha

The settings are in the EXIF data. Anyway, they were shot at ISO250 and speeds from 1/400 to 1/1000. Spot metering (on face) was used because we were playing under shades. Hope this helps.

Some shots taken with the E-P1, only did resizing and adding of borders to image.

did u use fill flash for this shot?

No. I don't use flash on my E-P1 (although I got the little cute but kinda crappy FL14) :bsmilie:.
