Just a quick question, why the need to delete my thread and merge with this?

it's not a big issue i know, but just that my thread was deleted without notice,
and it took me a while to find it here.......

There is no point in starting a new thread and add images. There is a gallery section in the forums for sharing images and not in Equipment Discussion. I am allowing one consolidated thread so that sample images are easier to find, and if you have noticed, instead of deleting all "picture samples" thread, I am allowing it (partially against the rules liao) so that those who wants to see the image samples for a particular camera model can find it. Eventually that thread will be merged with the one in the sticky.

If anyone would like to show their photography work in ClubSNAP, there is a gallery section within the forums for that purpose. Please kindly note that.

Thank you.

Used the E-P1 to shoot the Canon Photomarathon yesterday:

Then decided to switch to the Canon to shoot the 3rd theme ENERGY. Happily return to Suntec to submit photo. Then realised that I've forgotten to shoot the file in JPG!!!!
Quickly shoot something on the spot in JPG for submission. But there goes my 3rd theme.... and perhaps my chance to go japan for holiday.... :(

If you shoot in RAW you can do RAW Data Edit. This can be found the in menu: PLAYBACK > EDIT > SEL. IMAGE > OK > RAW DATA EDIT.

After conversion to JPEG you can do JPEG EDIT. The following editing function can be selected:

- SHADOW ADJ
- REDEYE FIX
- TRIMMING/CROP
- ASPECT
- BLACK & WHITE
- SEPIA
- SATUARATION
- RESIZE IMAGE FILE
- e-PORTRAIT

You can also change the camera setting in the various functions (WB, Picture mode, apply ART filter) before conversion.

Though I don't use it often I find that this is a very useful feature.

Alternatively, select to shoot in RAW + JPEG?

Did you not read the menu, page 89?

I think he meant the last picture - ENERGY, which he took with his canon dslr and forgot to shoot with jpeg if I understood his post correctly...

You understand correctly.

how to change the WB, and apply ART filter to the RAW file? Look through the manual but there's no mention of this...
